School Lane is so named because it is home to Lubenham's excellent school housed in an historic building.

At the junction of School Lane and Main Street stands Gore Lodge, 'The House that Jack Built'. This house was built in the 18th century and was later converted into a 'hunting box' by John Benedict Gore, resident there in 1875.
