The
Old Oak Tree
The old oak tree,
hangs decayed branches which are
bending and twisting
The old tree has bent itself over
Like a person with a bent back.
No bird sits on the leafless tree
No bird sings for this lonely tree
The weather beaten tree stands
in a desolate garden.
The tree is small
there is a small hole
at the bottom of this tree
and the ants crawl under.
This desolate tree just waits.
